Following the launch of the
IRIS Legal customer web community portal just four months ago, we
are pleased to announce that we’ve now registered our 500th user to
the 24/7 x 365 secure site.
Packed with product-specific information and legal knowledge,
clients are commenting on the wealth of information and the
user-friendly interface, where everything is accessible from 1-2
mouse clicks. Many users are visiting the site on an almost
daily basis to download valuable documentation such as user guides,
release notes, roadmaps, information bulletins, training schedules,
service level agreements, datasheets, case studies, white papers
and news.
Other regularly-used areas of the portal are the searchable
knowledge base for users to find answers quickly to common support
queries and the frequently asked questions library which covers a
range of popular topics.
Martin Leuw, Group Chief Executive of IRIS, comments:
“Our web portal team has invested a lot of time and effort
in producing the new site. We are fully committed to making
the portal an indispensable reference point for all our users, as
an added service to the existing technical and customer care
support channels which continue to excel.
We passionately believe that offering customers access to
key information online is essential to providing the choice needed
in today’s busy working environment, particularly useful outside of
normal office opening times as extended working hours is fairly
typical practice.
IRIS Legal as a supplier is unique in that it provides
software to both barristers’ chambers and law firms. With the
advent of multi-disciplinary practices and alternative business
structures resulting from the Legal Services Act, it’s becoming
increasingly important for chambers and law firms to forge stronger
relationships. The portal is the ideal environment for
bringing together these two professional groups, to improve
cross-communications and encourage the referral of work in each
direction. The networking opportunity afforded by the secure
online community of the portal can significantly enhance this flow
of information and communication between barristers and solicitors,
so this is another major benefit of the site.
Although the portal is already densely populated and we’re
constantly registering new users, we are by no means sitting back
on our laurels. It’s a continual work in progress to manage
the portal’s ongoing development by keeping the information
current, useful, innovative and by acting upon customer feedback
for improvements or additions to the site.
Our ultimate objective is to sign up all IRIS Legal users
and we’re working really hard to achieve this.”
